One case can involve more than one payee.
We separate China Care’s coordination work from medical care and third-party arrangements. This keeps each cost visible before you make a decision.

Consultations, tests, medication, admission and treatment are quoted and collected directly by the treating institution.
Third parties
Travel and optional support
Travel, accommodation, insurance and separately arranged services are confirmed and quoted before any arrangement is made.

Health check bookings work differently.
Health-check partner packages work differently from treatment costs. A displayed China Care partner-package rate is arranged through China Care. China Care confirms the current centre, date, package/version, availability, published rate and booking details before payment. Advance payment is required to secure the confirmed partner package, and China Care collects the payment directly.

Initial discussion
Tell China Care what you need and what information you already have. The initial discussion carries no separate fee.
Written scope
Before formal coordination, we confirm the service scope, fee, payment timing and any third-party costs in writing.
Service payment
The patient pays China Care before the agreed hospital or facility coordination begins. Full Service is paid in two agreed instalments.
Institutional costs
The hospital or treating facility confirms and collects its own consultation, test, admission and treatment costs directly.

Credits and Refunds
A clear rule for work already started.
Service fees are non-refundable once coordination begins.
Case management, record organisation, communication and hospital or facility outreach begin after payment. A hospital or facility decision not to accept a case does not reverse work already completed within the agreed scope.
Earlier service fees can be credited toward Full Service.
For the same patient and case, one Hospital Access or Case Coordination payment is credited once toward the agreed Full Service fee if you later choose to continue. The credit is applied in the currency stated in your written proposal and cannot be used for hospital, treatment or third-party costs.

What is the difference between Hospital Access and Case Coordination?
Hospital Access is for one agreed hospital visit when you already know the hospital, city, department or specialist. Case Coordination is for a complex case when you first need help identifying which up to two hospitals or facilities are worth approaching. Neither service is a medical opinion or a guarantee that an institution will accept the case.
When do I pay China Care?
We agree the scope and fee in writing before China Care begins formal hospital or facility coordination. The patient then pays the China Care service fee before that agreed work starts. Full Service fees are paid in two agreed instalments after the scope is confirmed.
Which currency appears on my invoice and how can I pay?
China Care invoices are issued in HKD. You can pay through Stripe or Wise using any supported payment currency. If your card, bank or payment method uses another currency, the relevant provider converts the payment at its own applicable rate and may apply its own charges. RMB and USD figures on this page are rounded references, not separate invoice currencies.
Can earlier service fees be credited if I need more support?
Yes. For the same patient and case, one Hospital Access payment or one Case Coordination payment can be credited once toward the agreed Full Service fee. The written proposal confirms the credited amount and currency. The credit applies only to China Care’s Full Service fee, not to hospital, treatment, travel or other third-party costs.
What if a hospital does not accept my case?
The treating hospital or facility decides whether it can review or accept a case. China Care service fees are non-refundable once coordination begins because the agreed case work, communication and outreach have already started. Within the agreed scope, we explain the response received and the practical next step available.
Who decides clinical eligibility and treatment?
Clinical eligibility, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, product choice, admission and medical risk are decided only by the treating hospital and specialist. China Care coordinates access and communication. We do not diagnose, recommend treatment or guarantee a clinical outcome.
How are health check partner packages charged?
A displayed China Care partner-package rate is arranged in advance through China Care. China Care confirms the current centre, date, package/version, availability, published rate and booking details before payment. Advance payment is required to secure the confirmed partner package, and China Care collects the payment directly.
