Frequently asked questions
Plain answers about practical planning, China Care’s coordination role, and what a treating institution must confirm.
Is treatment in China safe for international patients?
China Care does not make clinical safety or quality judgments. The relevant hospital or facility must confirm its own licensing, service availability, clinical standards, records requirements, language arrangements, and whether it can review a case. We can help you understand practical coordination questions to ask before travel.
How does China Care charge for its services?
If a defined coordination service is appropriate, China Care confirms the scope, fee, timing, and any separate third-party costs in writing before formal work begins. Hospitals and treating facilities decide and quote their own medical charges separately.
Do I need to speak Chinese?
Language arrangements vary by institution and service. China Care can explain available practical communication support within an agreed scope, but the relevant hospital or facility must confirm its own language arrangements, documents, and report process.
How long does the process take?
Timing depends on the institution, the information it requires, appointment availability, the traveller’s circumstances, and the agreed coordination scope. China Care can explain the next practical step, but a hospital or facility confirms its own review and appointment timing.
What if a China-based route is not practical?
China Care can explain practical constraints that become clear during an enquiry, such as an institution’s availability, required records, timing, or travel logistics. We do not decide medical suitability or recommend treatment. A treating institution and its clinicians make clinical decisions.
What happens after I return home?
The treating institution determines its own report, discharge, and follow-up process. China Care may provide agreed practical communication or document-support coordination, but does not provide medical interpretation, diagnosis, or follow-up treatment advice.
How do health-check bookings work?
For participating health-check centres, China Care confirms the current package, centre, date, availability, published rate, appointment option, included items, preparation requirements, report process and booking details before payment. Advance payment is required to secure the confirmed partner package, and China Care collects the payment directly.
Still have a practical question?
Start with a short message. China Care can explain the practical next step before formal coordination begins.
