Shenzhen Bao'an Authentic TCM Treatment Hospital (深圳市宝安纯中医治疗医院) opened in March 2019 as China's first pure-traditional-Chinese-medicine treatment hospital. It is a public hospital managed to Grade-3 TCM hospital standards, located at the foot of Pingluan Mountain in Xixiang, Bao'an District, and treats patients exclusively with Chinese medicine — herbal formulas, acupuncture, tuina and classical therapies — supported by modern diagnostics.
Shenzhen Bao'an Authentic TCM Treatment Hospital was opened on 18 March 2019 as China's first authentic TCM treatment hospital — a public institution that treats with Chinese medicine only, while using modern imaging and laboratory services for diagnosis and safety monitoring. The Han-Tang style campus sits at the foot of Pingluan Mountain in Xixiang, a 10-minute drive from Bao'an International Airport and directly served by Metro Line 12.
Clinically, the hospital is organised around classical TCM — a classical-formula ward, a TCM therapy centre, and centres for prevention ('zhì wèi bìng'), oncology, geriatric rehabilitation and complex-disease consultation. It runs 32 specialty clinics covering insomnia, post-stroke care, diabetes, gynaecology, pain and others, and has a dedicated International/HK-Macao-Taiwan TCM practitioners department that has served tens of thousands of international and cross-border patients since 2023.
